For more than four decades, Joseph M. Cobert, A Professional Corporation and its principal Joe Cobert have focused on real property law matters, both transactional and litigation. The firm regularly represents brokers and other realty professionals, buyers, sellers, contractors, developers, syndicators, lenders, borrowers, investors, landlords, tenants, entrepreneurs and others needing sound, experienced, aggressive real estate transaction and litigation advice.
Joe has extensive teaching and speaking experience. He has taught the Real Estate Finance course at UCLA Extension for the past 34 years, as well as having been a speaker or guest lecturer on real estate law topics at many other classes, seminars and conferences. Joe is currently in his third year as co-chair of the Programs Committee of Urban Land Institute’s Los Angeles Chapter. He has served as an officer and/or director of many real estate and charitable groups. He headed the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Real Estate Section for three years. Joe writes a newsletter entitled The Joe Cobert Report. Additionally, Joe has written articles for various publications including law reviews, bar journals and networking and trade organizations. Joe is licensed to practice law before all State and Federal courts in California. He has also been a licensed real estate broker in California for 37 years.
